As stated in the latest September 2023 report from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 336,000 jobs were added throughout the month. However, the 3.8% unemployment rate stayed the same.

Major strides were seen in the Leisure and Hospitality sector, above their monthly average, with 96,000 new jobs, and 65,900 in Healthcare, despite being below their yearly average. The sector of Professional, Scientific, and Technical services also saw an increase, adding 21,000 jobs in September.

Industries that showed exemplary growth include Leisure & Hospitality, Healthcare & Social assistance, and Professional, Scientific, and Technical services. The Leisure & Hospitality sector, in particular, has consistently led job creation over the past three months.
